The XTR3 Pre-configured Bed Rack is our best-selling aluminum extrusion rack for the Nissan Frontier. Built with six uprights—one at each corner and one in the center of each side rail—the XTR3 gives Frontier owners a strong, modular, open-sided rack system with extra load-bearing capacity for overland travel, work use, daily hauling, and weekend gear.

Unlike fixed sheet-metal racks, the XTR3 is built from T-slot aluminum extrusion so your setup can change as your truck build evolves. Mount rooftop tent accessories, recovery boards, awnings, water storage, fuel cans, bikes, kayaks, ladders, conduit, lumber, and jobsite gear without locking your truck into one permanent layout. Comes in mid-height and cab-height options, so you get the exact fit for your needs.

What it does

Attaches directly to the factory bed rails using the included bedrail brackets, which mount directly to the truck’s bed rails without drilling any holes. It turns your Nissan Frontier bed into a fully modular cargo platform: carry a rooftop tent, awning, recovery gear, fuel, and water on top, while keeping the bed underneath free for daily use. Works as a Nissan Frontier ladder rack, a cargo rack for lumber and conduit, or a no-nonsense overland basecamp — built from solid T-slot aluminum, not flimsy sheet metal.

The XTR3 Pre-configured is engineered to bolt directly to your Nissan Frontier’s factory bed rails. It comes in mid-height and cab-height options so you get the exact fit for your needs. The uprights are pre-cut and pre-drilled for a clean, flush mount. It’s not a universal bracket forced to fit — it’s purpose-built for the geometry and rail spacing of the Frontier.

What is the difference between the XTR1 and the XTR3?

The XTR3 features six uprights instead of four — one in each corner plus one center upright on each side rail. This gives the XTR3 extra load-bearing capacity, additional mounting points for accessories, and a solid middle anchor for spanning longer items like lumber or conduit. Both are built from solid T-slot aluminum and bolt directly to your bed rails.

Does this require drilling into my Nissan Frontier?

No. The rack mounts directly to the factory bed rails using the included bedrail brackets. No permanent modifications, no drilling, and no compromising your factory finish.

Will this rack work with a Softopper, FasTop, or Bestop on my Nissan Frontier?
